Via Santamaura 49, 00192, Roma
Area
The Prati neighborhood is a bustling European-feeling part of Rome. Apart from the ever-present Vatican City (technically not in Prati or even in Rome) and Castel Sant’Angelo, there is not much in the way of cultural highlights to attract people here. Instead, the neighborhood thrives on business and offers an enjoyable daily life. Despite its ancient origins that date back to the Etrurian civilisation, it was urbanized after the unification of Italy in the late 19th century, today it is especially known for its expensive flats, commercial and professional offices, and proximity to the Vatican City. Thus, its increasing number of cool restaurants, wine bars and pubs. It is very well connected thanks to the metro, and many buses and trams.
